WHO WE ARE?
Thompson & Stein is a Polish law firm specializing in legal and tax consultancy for enterprises. The team of the Law Firm consists of experienced lawyers, tax advisers and certified accountants. The employees and consultants of the Law Firm have many years of experience in working in Polish, international corporations, at the managerial and managerial level, as well as in conducting individual activities. Thompson & Stein is part of an international holding company of law firms, and our lawyers are members of the prestigious Association of International Tax Planners.
DISCOVER OUR STORY
The Thompson & Stein Law Firm was established in 2014 as a result of the KKP Law Firm, operating on the Polish market since 2008, joining the newly formed Thompson & Stein group. From the beginning, Thompson & Stein specializes in international transactions, establishing companies and providing services to entities in the European Union and around the world.
The first office of Thompson & Stein was a branch in Warsaw. In 2015, the first foreign office in Malta was launched. From that moment on, the entire group began to grow very rapidly. The number of transactions handled increased, and along with it, the team with new specialists joined significantly.
In 2016, the Estonian law firm Thompson & Stein was established, offering comprehensive services for entrepreneurs, mostly foreigners, operating in Estonia. Currently, it is the largest and fastest growing entity in the group. This is due to both the favorable economic conditions of Estonia itself and the growing interest in handling transactions in the field of new technologies, which are the specialization of the Estonian law firm. Since 2018, Thompson & Stein OÜ has a license from the Estonian financial supervision – FIU for the provision of Corporate Services (Financial Services, Service of Trust Funds and Companies FIU000217).
From the very beginning, the Thompson & Stein group has in its authorities Polish managers who, as originators, are the driving force of the international organization. Our group is probably the first time in history in which an international legal and tax advisory group is built from Poland and not the other way around. The ambition of Thompson & Stein managers is to be able to provide the highest quality services anywhere in the world.
